Dove for SENSITIVE skin 🧖🏾‍♀️

The Dove sensitive skin nourishing body wash is nothing less than luxury in a bottle! It always leaves my skin feeling like silk. This body wash is a hypoallergenic cleanser, and also contains NutriumMoisture technology.  (Which helps maintain skin's NATURAL moisture.)We only have to purchase this bottle once a month! I was excited that it lasted so long! If you're worried about fragrance, don't! The Dove sensitive skin nourishing body wash has a pleasant, light-clean smelling scent. ☝🏾Skincare is IMPORTANT!

Fall is finally here and the cooler months are approaching! Here in Arkansas, our skin may EVENTUALLY get a break from the sun's harmful rays, but winter IS ON THE WAY! As most of you know, dry skin occurs when skin is unable to retain a suitable amount of moisture. When the temperature drops, the epidermis, (the outermost layer of skin) mirrors the level of humidity surrounding it. Therefore I find it beneficial to continue with a skin care regimen year round. My skin type is dry/sensitive, which is why when looking for a cleanser, I prefer a scrub! It's hard to find a face scrub that is gentle enough for sensitive skin. I've been using this NEUTROGENA pink grapefruit foaming scrub for OVER 5 years! I recommend this cleanser to EVERYONE! The one question that I'm asked constantly is what do I use to keep my skin so beautiful! This is my secret weapon! When I first begun to purchased this product I would use a small amount daily. I love the scent, the formula, EVERYTHING! I was amazed that I was able to use this product often without experiencing any skin irritation. After a while I didn't need to use the product daily, maybe twice a week. I have reviewed many skin care products, but this one is definitely the MVP!

Shea Miracle LEAVE-IN Conditioner

I used this Leave-in in my hair for a twist out. I normally only use my coconut oil, water, & eco styler gel. This twist out didn't last long & my hair became frizzy! I was SUPER disappointed with the results. I'm unable to determine if this was because of the gel that I used or if it was because of the leave -in. This product claims to turn frizz to smooth curls, coils, and waves. It also highlights shine and softness. After using the product I'm able to agree on a few things! This product definitely leaves your hair feeling soft and moisturized. I'm sadly reporting that this product didn't turn MY frizz into smooth curls, coils or anything wave-like. HOWEVER, the product did manage to keep my hair moisturized for days after I applied it & the smell is AWESOME!


UPDATE! If you're following my INSTAGRAM account you've already seen the twist out that
I achieved by using this product on its OWN. My results were amazing! My twist out was very defined! This just shows that sometimes we must play around with the product. The way it's formulated may not react well with other products, and that's exactly what happened!

COVERGIRL Vitalist healthy Elixir

The COVERGIRL VITALIST HEALTHY ELIXIR claims to be hydrating, vitamin-infused, & buildable! I wore the foundation for about a week to give it a "proper" review. I must say that I was intrigued with the "vitamin-infused" feature. Although, while wearing this foundation I noticed nothing out of the ordinary. At the time I did have minor break- outs that I normally get from the heat. This did nothing for my break outs nor did it make them worse. I'm not sure what this vitamin feature does, maybe its not visible? This particular formula actually reminds me of the COVERGIRL QUEEN COLLECTION natural hue! Very similar, in fact if you're unable to find your shade in the HEALTHY ELIXIR I would suggest trying out the natural hue! (you'll save $3.50!) They both blend beautifully & the coverage is light. Ideal for the summer or if you want a natural look! The COVERGIRL VITAL HEALTHY ELIXIR  currently retails for $9.98 at Walmart.

I DO BELIEVE THAT MY SKIN IS A BIT SENSITIVE TO THE FRAGRANCE IN THIS FOUNDATION. IT IS MY PERFECT SHADE BUT I NOTICED THAT IT DOES MAKE MY FACE ITCH! IF I USE IT FOR MORE THAN A COUPLE OF DAYS I WILL NOTICE BREAKOUTS. I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN & I'M UNABLE TO USE ANYTHING WITH A FRAGRANCE. THIS INCLUDES LOTIONS AS WELL. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND USING THIS PRODUCT. HEALTHY ELIXIR? WHERE ARE THE VITAMINS? I WOULDN'T BE SO DISAPPOINTED IF THE FOUNDATION WAS TRASH & I ABSOLUTELY HATED THE FORMULA! (WHICH ISN'T THE CASE AT ALL) THE FORMULA IS AMAZING!! I LOVE HOW  NATURAL IT LOOKS AND FEELS ON THE SKIN! i'M JUST UNABLE TO REACH FOR IT AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE.

Dove ADVANCED CARE

I've been using the Dove advanced care deodorant for years! Once I discovered it, there wasn't a need for me to try anything else! Dove recently changed the packaging of the product! Is it just me or does it seem like there's more in this container?

I'm absolutely certain that I can rely on this product to work! While I'm in the gym getting my work-out on, I do some MAJOR sweating! (which I'm sure we all do!)  I can smell the scent of this deodorant & I know it's working! I also LOVE that there is no visible build up!

Along with various other scents, Dove also offers an advanced care "sensitive skin" formula as well.
I have sensitive skin & I haven't experienced any problems with the cool essentials antiperspirant. This product retails for $4.66 at Walmart. I would definitely recommend adding to your daily hygiene routine!
